Dear Esther…

There is often an argument about whether video games can be considered art. I suppose they can, after all they have pictures in them.

It’s been a long and arduous task for the regular video game journo to have their medium accepted as art, able to tell a story and invoke emotion.

But, you know what, when the journos decide to make something art, that is just, well, crap then they need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Dear Esther is not high art, it is not a fantastic forage into the realms of the video gaming unknown. It is boring drivel, end of story, and the journos should bloody well tell us that before we go and waste our money and time on it.
